How to Enable LED Notification Light in Moto G4 Plus

Are you surprised after seeing this ?, Yes you have hidden LED Notification light in Moto G4 Plus. According to a post in the XDA Developers there is an LED notification light near the fingerprint sensor.

This LED notification light in Moto G4 Plus can be managed using an app which was available for download in the Google Play Store. You can manage this LED Notification light in Moto G4 Plus only after rooting the phone.

Warning: Moto G4 Plus was released couple of months back, so if you want to check the LED Notification Light, then you need to root Moto G4 Plus. But rooting Moto G4 Plus will void your  Motorola warranty.

Steps to Enable LED Notification Light in Moto G4 Plus:

Step 1: As the first step root your Moto G4 Plus.

Step 2: Then download the Light Flow Legacy App from the Google Play Store in your Moto G4 Plus.

Step 3: Once you have installed Light Flow Legacy app, give the notification access to the Light Flow Legacy App in your rooted Moto G4 Plus.

Step 4: Now in your Light Flow Legacy app, Go to Menu -> Settings -> Device Settings and Root -> Check “root mode” and “run every command as root”.

Step 5: After completing the Step 4, now go to Menu -> Settings -> LED Control -> Additional LED’s found -> Check “charging control”.

Step 6: Go to Menu -> Notification Settings -> Click on the 3-dot menu on any of the items in the list -> then go to Settings. In the next screen, swipe to the right and select the Lights Tab. There find an option called charge LED and Click on it. After Clicking it select an option called “Solid”.

Step 7: Now at the right corner, you can see an option called “test”, click on it and turn off your display, now you can see the charging LED light in your Moto G4 Plus.
